The Chaska Fire Department will be conducting a training on Monday (4/14) from 7pm - 8:30pm.
So, if you happen to see fire/smoke in the prairie grass fields at the intersection of Engler Blvd and Audubon Rd, we wanted to let you know that it is planned.
The extra benefit of this training is that it will help get rid of any unwanted plants (like weeds) and woody plants that may be starting to grow. The prairie grass that we originally planted will grow back.
We do these kinds of prescribed burns every few years in this area.
