Taking down your Christmas tree? Here are a few ways you can recycle it.

Chaska BSA Troop 174 will collect Christmas trees door-to-door and deliver them to a compost site on Saturday, January 4, 2025 for $10. To use this service, email Troop 174 at ChaskaBSATroop174@gmail.com by December 31 with your name, address, and phone number.

Christmas trees can also be dropped off at the Carver County Environmental Services during January. There is no charge for dropping off trees. Decorations and yard waste items are not accepted. Check their website.
