Growth Through Opportunity Program Recap - Carson & Elly
Our 2 cadets, Carson and Elly, spent 8 weeks with various departments in our city. They learned about what services all our departments provide, and our staff had a blast showing them the ropes! A big thank you also goes out to the team from Empower Inclusion for making this program possible.

Appointment of Independent Financial Auditor
The City is required to have an independent auditor perform an annual audit of financial statements as prepared and issued by the City. The City issued a Request for Proposal in July and interviewed 4 finalists. Clifton, Larson, Allen (CLA) was appointed as the new Independent Financial Auditor. CLA scored the highest on the technical proposal and the lowest on the fee proposal.
2024 Community Survey
The City of Chaska conducted a community survey earlier this summer. The survey is done every 5 to 6 years. The survey gauges resident satisfaction with city services and expectations for the future. The survey is statistically significant. The findings are based on in-depth conversations with 400 randomly selected residents.
