About the Parks and Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission consists of 10 members who are appointed by the City Council. The Commission discusses items related to open spaces, city parks, recreation, and arts, and reviews the comprehensive plan and various developmental projects throughout the city. Recommendations and analysis are given to the City Council on matters of policy.
